What to know

Obi-wan Kenobi is a Disney+ miniseries created by Lucasfilm. For the first time since 2005, Ewan McGregor reprises the role of Obi-Wan Kenobi. He is joined by Hayden Christensen, who reprises his role as Anakin Skywalker a.k.a Darth Vader. Joel Edgerton and Bonnie Piesse also return to the franchise as Lars Owen Lars and Beru Whitesun. Rupert Friend plays The Grand Inquisitor, who appears in live action for the first time. The Star Wars villain is the Galactic Empire’s highest-ranking Inquisitor, leading a search for Jedis throughout the galaxy. Obi-Wan Kenobi was released on Disney+ on May 27th, 2022.
