On Monday April 8, 2024, something seemingly snapped inside Danielle Cherakiyah Johnson. According to online records, Danielle was 34 years old.
Everything started to come to light at around 4.30am on Monday. An 8-month-old child and a 9-year-old girl were found in the middle of the 405 Freeway. The baby was pronounced dead at the scene, but the older girl luckily escaped with ‘moderate injuries’.
Half an hour after the children were found, there was a fatal car crash reported in Redondo Beach.

A driver died after losing control and crashing into a tree in Redondo Beach early Monday morning.
The deadly single-car crash happened around 5 a.m. at the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Vincent Street, according to the Redondo Beach Police Department.
Additional details about what led up to the incident were not available, but it appears the car hit at least one tree on the sidewalk. AIR7 HD was over the scene where there were no visible skid marks on the road.
Some reports say the car was travelling at more than 100mph at the time of the crash.
Three hours after the crash, neighbors of Jaelen Allen Chaney (29) in Woodland Hills, a LA suburb called police.
Jaelen lived in The Q Variel complex where a one bedroom apartment can cost around $5k per month. He lived there with his partner Danielle Johnson.
Neighbors called 911 after they noticed a trail of blood down the hallway that led to the open front door of Jaelen’s home.
“I called 911,” said Richard Berglund. “I said, ‘Something bad has happened.'”
“Their door was wide open, there was blood on the floor leading into their apartment, and then a trail of it in the hallway leading up to the elevator, and I saw some blood on the walls,” a 26-year-old neighbor told ABC 7.
I am not sure if all of these neighbors are Richard but this is a quote from Fox LA:
“I walked out our front door and looked to the left, their door was wide open and there was blood all throughout their front door, all the way to the hallway, into the elevator and blood on the walls, so I called my dad,” the neighbor told FOX 11.
“I went into the apartment, I stepped over the blood puddles and checked on the body and I saw he was dead. Called 911 of course.”

At the direction of an EMT, the neighbor’s father went into the unit to check on Jaelen, who was found dead and “facedown on the floor.”
“And there was a lot of blood,” the man said.
Either way, the scene was horrific.
What police have now said happened is that Jaelen and Danielle got into an argument at around 3.40am.
Danielle then stabbed Jaelen to death with a knife.
She took her two daughters and put them into their Porsche SUV. She then drove straight through the closed apartment complex security gate.
Some reports say that when she reached the highway, witnesses saw her throw the children out of the moving vehicle, onto the road.

The older girl, a 9-year-old, was holding the 8-month-old when they were ejected from the SUV and hit the roadway, investigators say. The girl lost hold of the baby, who was then struck by a vehicle on the freeway.
She then kept driving at a high rate of speed, before crashing the vehicle and allegedly taking her own life.
LAPD investigators say that the couple had been dating for about three years and were living together. They have also said that Danielle was still married to another person and going through a divorce. Neighbors have since said that they heard the couple fighting on multiple occasions prior to these incidents.
Family members of Jaelen’s say that he was a United States Air Force veteran.
On April 10, we learned some more about Danielle.
She actually has a large online presence under the name Danielle Ayoka or MysticxLipstick.
In the days before all this, she made posts about the upcoming eclipse. These incidents happened on the day of the eclipse.

According to the Washington Times:
Her social media also included a mix of antisemitic screeds, conspiracy theories about vaccines and warnings about the end of the world alongside astrological predictions and positive affirmations. Also on April 5, she posted the word “LOVE” dozens of times. Her personal website offers a variety of services including “zodiac healing work,” “alcohol balancing system” and an “aura cleanse.”
Lt Guy Golian has said that police have reviewed all of the posts but they don’t know what the motivation was for the murders.
“We just don’t know why she did what she did,” Lt Golan told The Associated Press on Wednesday.
“We’ve taken all the facts we can, but without being able to interview her and without having something more tangible than a post on X, I don’t know how much weight you can give to somebody (saying) there’s an apocalypse and attribute it to one of the most horrific murders we’ve had in LA,” Lt Golan, who is head of the homicide unit investigating the case, said.
